Born in Nigeria, but having lived in London since she was a young girl, Irenosen Okojie’s stories illustrate her love for different cultures and languages, with tales set all around the world, from Japan to Wales to Mozambique.
With poetically lyrical prose, Irenosen explores themes of gender, personal transformation, rebirth and womanhood in her writing, taking her readers on a vivid journey of the imagination as her stories delve into magic realism and fantasy.
