Considering the weather is set to change here in the UK this week, I’m glad I made the most of the hot and sunny weekend to get out and about. On Sunday, I headed to Garsons Farm (where I had so much fun strawberry picking a few months ago), as I’d heard about their fields of pick your own wildflowers and sunflowers.
I felt rather like Marianne from Sense & Sensibility (who so famously – if not very sensibly – scorned hot house flowers in favour of a bunch of wild blooms) as I made my way through rows of brightly coloured cornflowers, picking happily as I went.
There’s nothing that says summer more than standing in a field of sunflowers! I hope you all had a lovely weekend too. What did you get up to?
