Miranda Loves: Minimalist Jewellery

Minimalist JewelleryImage via Haute Pursuit

I tend to oscillate between two extremes in jewellery: some days I reach for bold, statement pieces that flash and sparkle; others I prefer simple, delicate items that are clean cut and elegant. More and more, I find myself drawn to minimalist jewellery, so it’s no surprise that I’m completely in love with La Minimaliste Collection from THPSHOP. I only recently discovered the Haute Pursuit blog and linked shop and am completely in love with the beautiful photography and Vanessa Hong’s flawless style.

THP jewellery line offers a good range of reasonably priced ($25-$75) items that positively drip with style. Every piece would pair equally well with either casual jeans and a t-shirt, or a dressier evening ensemble. As well as the new La Minimaliste range, I love the older collections too, especially the doubleback earrings that are reminiscent of Dior, but at a fraction of the price tag! I’ve gathered together a few of my favourites below:

1/ Metallic Barbell earring ($75) 2/ The Tuxedo Doubleback earring ($65) 3/ The Loop necklace ($55) 4/ Barbell Cuff bracelet ($50) 5/ Gold Twist ring ($25) 6/ The Marble Doubleback earring ($75)

Luckily, HTPSHOP does appear to ship abroad (standard postage to the UK costs $15), so I’m definitely adding some items to my wish list! It’s only 6 months ’til my birthday, after all…

Do you like minimalist jewellery, or do you prefer some serious bling? What pieces are your favourite from the HTPSHOP collection?

Miranda Loves: Alex Monroe Bee Signet Ring

I’m so thrilled that the Alex Monroe bee signet ring is now back in stock and available online. I was quick to scoop one up when the ring was first released as a limited edition last year, and I wear mine all the time. I love the idea of a signet ring, and I have always been a big fan of Alex Monroe’s signature bee motif. I know a lot of people were disappointed to miss out on the ring the first time round, so be sure to add it to your wish list now (and perhaps it’s not too early to drop hints for Valentine’s Day?!).

Miranda Loves: Gemporia Jewellery

I was recently contacted by Gemporia and asked if I’d be interested  in writing a post about their jewellery (see further information on this collaboration at bottom of page). As you know, I love sparkly pieces, so on taking a look at their website, I was immediately impressed by their gorgeous collections of real, but entirely affordable gems. Gemporia also offers an ethical approach to jewellery making, working to aid and support communities in which gemstones are sourced. Pretty, genuine, affordable and ethical – what’s not to love?!

I thought I would do a Miranda Loves post, highlighting my favourite items that are under £100. These are all pieces I think would look great for the holiday season, but won’t break the bank!

gemporia1.The stone in this ring (£30) is such a pretty festive colour. 2. Pair these stud earrings (£36) with a sparkly necklace and a little black dress for Christmas cocktails with friends. 3. Add some festive sparkle to your knitwear by pairing this necklace (£91) with a white sweater or knit dress. 4. For understated elegance, these earrings (£15) would look great with a silk blouse and skinny jeans. 5. These diamond earrings (£96) would make a lovely Christmas present. 6. Make a statement with this necklace (£99). 7. This bracelet (£84) and 8. this aquamarine ring (£88) would look pretty paired with a light coloured, sparkly dress for New Year’s Eve.

This post was written in collaboration with Gemporia. Please be aware, though, this post has not been sponsored, and the views expressed are entirely my own. I would only write about products I’d want to buy myself, and I was impressed by Gemporia’s collection, which I thought was very pretty and great value, so I thought it would be fun to share it with all of you too.
