Happy Weekend everyone! I’m so happy the sun has been shining, and my cold has improved so much that I’ve been able to get out and about. I had the most marvellous time in a pretty little corner of Hammersmith yesterday, which I’ll be blogging about soon, but I took some time out to film a short video about my favourite autumnal reads too. I hope you enjoy it!
For some reason, if you receive my blog posts over email, videos don’t appear within the post, so to watch the latest Miranda Chats, please click here.
Thanks so much again to everyone who watches, and please do let me know what your favourite books are to curl up with in the autumn months. I’ve included a list of all the ones I mentioned (plus a few honourable mentions!) beneath the video:
Books Mentioned:
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
The Complete Miss Marple Short Stories by Agatha Christie
Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
My Cousin Rachel by Daphne du Maurier
Anne of Green Gables by L M Montgomery
Persuasion by Jane Austen
Further Suggestions:
A Fortnight in September by R.C. Sheriff
Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell
The Turn of the Screw by Henry James
The Woman in Black by Susan Hill
