Florals and Stripes

Florals and Stripes Spring Dressing | Miranda's Notebook

Although it’s still too cold to put aside my winter wardrobe, I’m gradually making a shift towards spring-like dressing. Injecting my everyday wear with nautical stripes and bright florals, even if I still have to pair them with thick tights and closed-toe shoes, is my favourite way to transition my wardrobe into Spring.

I made the most of the sunshine recently to head to Parson’s Green, a lovely corner of London that for some reason I hadn’t been to for years. After a walk around the pretty streets, I had a great time stopping for hot chocolate at The Duke on the Green (one of the prettiest pubs you’ve ever seen), before going on for pink champagne at the fantastic bar, Amuse Bouche.

I loved Amuse Bouche and can’t wait to go back soon! They had a terrific list of cocktails and a wide range of champagne, with very reasonably priced options by the bottle or glass. The roaring fire made a particularly cosy setting on a chilly evening. Their restaurant, Claude’s Kitchen, which is located upstairs sounds lovely too. Have any of you ever been? I’m very tempted to try it out!
