Hello! I hope you enjoyed those last few days of August; I can’t believe the holidays are over, and it’s back to reality already. I am glad to be back to blogging though – my days feels strangely quiet when there aren’t blog posts to be working on!

I had a lovely time with my Dad visiting from New York last week. I was rather disappointed by how much it rained, but we managed to grab a sunny day and head to Kew Gardens, which proved to be one of the highlights of his trip. Kew never fails as a glorious space to spend a sunny day, and after a good tramp around we headed for sustenance in the form of a fish platter and a glass of rose at The Cricketers pub – perfection!

I feel I can’t be the only one who is wondering what on earth to wear each day, as the weather is so unpredictable: hot and sunny one moment, and cool and rainy the next. I’m living in 3/4 length floral shirts and jeans at the moment, with a raincoat and umbrella always to hand! Also, the other day, I was thrilled to be given the gorgeous House of Florrie watch, and I’ve been wearing it non-stop since! It was hard to choose between the pretty selection of House of Florrie watches, with their attractive floral and vintage inspired designs, but in the end I couldn’t resist this light blue and rose gold timepiece. Isn’t it elegant?!
